Tip #60

If you come across a technique that is too unreasonable, contains what seems to be a mistake, was used in a way that breaks the game, etc etc report it to the staff. You can do so by pm/vm to an RP staff member or using the report button and writting the reason as to why you're reporting the issue.

While not required, it is at the benefit of both the checker and submitter for the latter to post appropriate links to pertinent information in one's bio. What is meant by pertinent? training information, bio bound abilities, bio/test/skill or anything that would require RP Mod/Admin permission. This benefits the checker to reduce their level of skepticism leading to reduction in discrepancies that would otherwise have mods forcing members to provide this information on specific demand that could very well result in punishments for failure to produce what is asked for. It's assumed that most members don't like punishment...

Tip #62

When you try to combine two elements there has to be a certain logic behind the new element that is created. However it became especially clear during the last CE cycle that several people think they can just subjectively select abstract qualities for their CE, but that's not how it works. The examples of storm and wood are always used, but these were never abstract. Water is the source of life, earth contains minerals and nutrients, earth absorbs water and this leads to vegetation. Nothing abstract about it. Same thing with storm. Yes it was described as lightning flowing like water to make it simple, but that's neither lightning nor water anymore. If that was the case, it would look very different. A large amount of electrical energy was combined with conductive water leading to a streamlined, guided form of energy. Yes the explanation shouldn't be correct up to the tiniest details, but there is a fundamental difference between steam which you get by heating up water and evaporating it, which is logical, and wet fire, which is not, and it's the latter thing some people are doing quite a lot lately.

Rather than copying and pasting the same content in a bio update it is recommended that you simply supply a link(s) of the previous version of the bio you're updating and only add new content. For example, if you are updating the history of your bio to extend it from the point of your previous bio, simply make a reference link in the "Background" section to the previous bio and only put the newest content in your update. This can be done for your bio's looks and personality traits that are not subject to change as well. This cuts down on the amount of it takes the bio mod to check a bio by negating their need to read redundant information that hasn't changed. If we're talking benefits to the member, the shorter the bio the quicker the check. Everybody wins here.
