It's not fully clear yet. The origins of the titan power that is. but hey; even the new ending credits is pretty reveiling but vague at the Same Time. That's the beauty of This manga. It's mangaka still leaves room for suggestions towards the development of AoT

The answer is no, and there's a good chance the actual origins of Titans will not get explained. What we currently have is a "legend" which, without spoiling the specifics, sounds very implausible, but still works by giving the whole Titan theme more mystery and even a sense of supernatural.
