Currently, Naruto hasn't mastered his new move. Minato was a genius who could use upto 2nd level FTG. Even though Naruto got some killer justu, Minato is strong enough to beat his son using his FTG and Rasengan(however, if Naruto has mastered his new move, then Naruto can beat his dad).

Like MyNinjaWay said; the full extent of Minto's abilities are not known as of yet. In the first... season of Naruto, it was once stated that to become Hokage, you would needed to have mastered over 100 jutsu. Despite Minato obviously having mastered who knows how many lower level jutsu, he's also got some pretty kick-ass higher level jutsu at his disposal as well. Surely you could argue Naruto has a fair number of higher level jutsu's as well, but personally I don't think it's enough to defeat his dad. KohonaRokudaime also mentioned that Minato was a genius; quite the opposite to his son. And despite death, Minato still has a number of years on Naruto in experience. (Not only that, but he's also known for killing in cold blood. -shiver-)
The only way I can really see Naruto winning is because he's the main character. -.- And his RasenShurikin taking his dad by complete surprise... >.>;

sorry, but when I read the OP, the first thing that popped into my head was the Kakashi Gaiden.

a fight with minato is over the instant it begins. FTG, kunai in the temple, done. Even tobi with the help of at least one sharingan could only barely keep up with his speed, not to mention he seems able to do FTG istantaneously and at will.

when I think of naruto's first move against minato, we all know it would be shadow clone jutsu, and we all know this is useless, Minato can take them all out with his ftg technique just as he did in the gaiden (yes I know, in the gaiden they were only outnumbered 40-1 so he had the other ninja each take 40 kunai and throw them and he did the rest, but seriously, seems everyone jounin or higher can do shadow clone also.)

I think if it turned into a long fight, naruto would win, but I just don't see it turning into a long fight. I see it being over inside of 1 or 2 moves.

Minato. Sealing Jutsu, Naruto Loses based off of that alone. And unless he uses the power of Kyuubi to wake him up, he is extremely weak against Genjutsu as well.

Naruto has surpassed his father. Naruto wins. Although Minato could plan tricky and smart tactics to bring his son down. That sounded ironic.. xD
