I am referring to this moment:

Here is Naruto, after meeting his mother, suddenly able to produce these chains to bind the Kyubbi.

Now, up until this point, the techniques that we have seen used in this dream/meditative space have all been actual abilities possessed by Naruto (Rasengen, FRS, Kage Bushin, stuff like that). These chains though, are out of nowhere and seem almost like they are a defense mechanism like Naruto's parents' chakra.

Kushina produce the chains remember the Fox said this chakra and then cried out Kushina, The Fox knows Kushina's abilities and the taste and smell of Kushina and Minato plus Naruto.

first of all, she didn't made part of the seal

minato USED her chakra to put in the seal so that when naruto finally decided to control the nine tail demon, it would be easier for naruto to do it because kushina would come and active the chains to contain the nine tail demon while naruto trys to take nine tail's chakra.

The chains is the secret ability that the cloud wanted because they were having problems containing the eight tail demon. A lot of lifes were taking away by just trying to seal the eight tail demon back in the container.

id say the chains are a subset of kushina's chakra and unique ability rather then the chains itself is the motive of kumogakure.. but once again we dont know to what extent kushina's powers are..

how did u get Kimimaro's ablity from that at all?

It's not like Kimmimaro's ability.But it may be a naruto's mothers ability.Because she said she has a special chakra.

Let wait till next Manga to see if Kushina demonstrates Her abilities or tells Naruto of Her gifts to Him and maybe Minato's too before jumping to conclusions. Plus Now that Naruto knows His Parents He may ask for more detail information from Tsunade and Kakashi the only two living that may have all the info He needs and wants.
