Discussion: Naruto needing more power

Why does naruto need the kyuubi to fight sasuke, I would understand if he needed it to fight madra/tobi/mizukage/obito/I dunoo, and his army of the remaining akistki, kabuto and the other seven tailed beast. But why sasuke ?

True Sasuke now has the EMS but back in the days, Madara had the EMS and the Kyuubi and was still defeated by the 1st Hokage who just had his would release apart from his other jutsu.

Do you think sasuke is more powerful than madara ?

Long and short of this story is.... the only person to perfect the control of natural energy and on top of that he is already one heck off a ninja, need a taild beast to beat up and over emotional guy who stands in one place and screems in a fight (Sasuke).

On the flip side maybe naruto knows fighting sasuke may or would make him emotional and loose control and go into kyuubi mode for ever. So mabye this why he needs to control the kyuubi to beat sasuke. But naruto said 'he needs the kyuubi's power to beat sasuke', so i don't really know what to think.

But naruto and sasuke are like this if someone just has and advantage over them they would still prevail, you would have to have overwhelming power over them to defeat them. Naruto knows this so maybe he wants to have and overwhelming edge over sasuke....

But I'm not saying he dosen't need the kyuubi but why so much for sasuke, sasuke is being over rated.

The sharingan can control the mindless kyubi, meaby by gaining control over him, naruto wants to remove the option, that sasuke will control kyubi, force him out and meake him a pet of his ^^ ?

Naruto needs to control the kyuubi so he has a partner to disrupt any genjutsu just like killer bee did, as an idea

true, naruto and sage mode is one powerful conbination already, but being a complete jinchuuriki would over power sasuke easily lol, the first hokage had neither or those great powers, and owned madara

id have to say madara is more powerful than sasuke still, but sasuke is more pure than madara and has more potential, and i madara only used the kyuubi, he never used it like a jinchuuriki.

my wonders are, do different used of the EMS have different skill sets? perhaps sasuke will aquire different abilities than madara, still all a big mystery to me, and im guessing the next 20 chapters is gunna explain ALOT.

Actually Sasuke is the strongest member in Akatskui. Sage mode isn't going to cut it wit EMS. Naruto also needs to master the kyuubi so it wouldn't hinder him in a fight.

Sasuke can spam any MS jutsu now so Naruto needs a much more reliable power source. Sage mode has one weakness he can stay in it for short periods of time.

eh, the first hokage had his own clan's jutsu's and powers, with the wood element who was also capable of taming any beast, Once naruto's a complete jinchuuriki, sasuke is just going to be overwhelmed

Why does eerybody on this forum think that sasuke can spam Ms ? Ok he wont go blind, but still it uses up chakra so there wont be much of a spam skill of it

And it will be usles if naruto can use kyubi to nulify the jutsu like KB

It has been said in 488, and 489, Naruto admits Sasuke is stronger.

Think real hard about Narutos chances of surviving sasukes attacks.

Naruto is severely weak against genjutsu-Sasukes tsukyomi would end the battle with sasuke as the winner if the fight was 1 vs 1.

Naruto has no known defence against amaterasu, even if Jiraiya gave Naruto the sealing capability, I dont think naruto has the time to write down a load of squiggly lines to seal fire on his own face, and sasuke moves VERY fast

Naruto has no known attack that can counter a now fully formed susanoo summoning

Naruto has no known attack that can counter the so far unknown new EMS tech sasuke now has.


Sage mode blah blah, whatever.

Facts are Naruto has no way to defeat sasuke, other than the fact hes the main character.

He needs powerups to actually make the Win he will get believable.

Itd be pretty funny if sasuke and Naruto fought and suddenly sasukes EMS techs had no effect for no reason

Naruto just manages to cancel tsukyomi entirely despite being most weak against genjutsu etc.

He will use the 9tails to cancel sasukes tsukyomi like KB did.

However if he has Itachis eyes his tsukyomi may get a power boost, we know from danzou that Itachis tsukyomi dominated time and space itself, whereas sasukes is just an upgrade to regular genjutsu, as danzou said, its comparable to the ground and the moon.

I personally think Itachis tsukyomi cant be cancelled, at all, even with bijuus.

plus when naruto and sasuke fight bro, its not always about naruto's defense, he's the master of shadow clones. spamin ms takes chakra indeed, the fight will probably narrow down to itachi's gift he gave to naruto, which most likely is a counter to sasuke, making him vulnerable to be taken out

Yes ,i think he need. Bot i also thing he already has it (Itachy's gift) . Cuz i think there is no way you can win susanoo even with full sage/kuybi mode. Susanoo is just invencible. So i think the main powerup is itachy's gift =)

I think Naruto learning how to control the Kyubbi is a good idea because with that and the sage mode he win be be able to defeat sasuke, especially because Naruto never gives up.

I have to agree ... can deflect anything? Well nobody ever blasted a 8 or 9 tailed menacing ball at it so no one knows what would happen if ...

Well I think (not proven) EMS uses less chakra it would suck if all EMS did was give you another jutsu and not go blind than Naruto really wouldn't need the kyuubi. He is using both his and itachi's eyes so thats why I am guessing that also Tobi keeps spamming his space time jutsu like water.

If Naruto masters the kyuubi like Bee Tsukuyomi will be useless, amaterasu never ketches anyone also Naruto's speed will be god like, Karin could be countered by a FRS.
