How To: Role Playing on NarutoBase

How to RP:

On NB the Role Playing is divided in 2 major sections. Regular RP and Battle RP.

Regular RP:

►Located here: Konoha Town - NarutoBase Forums
You can role play by building your own house or shop, you can go out on dates, get rp married, recruit members for your groups etc, everything that has to do with your "everyday life" on nb and your relationships with other members.

►The easiest way to rp is to type what your rp character says or does between these ** , but of course you can use the traditional rp system by only typing : and " when your character is speaking.

►You can refer to yourself in either first or third person like this:

*Rei walks in*
*walks in*
*I walk in*

► and most importantly you have to respect the Forum Rules: NarutoBase Forums - Announcements in Forum : Announcements
as double posting, cussing and flaming other members is not allowed.

Battle RP:

On NB, since we are all shinobis we fight each other and start wars, in these sections:

Naruto Battle Arena - NarutoBase Forums
Naruto Training Grounds - NarutoBase Forums

Of course creating a battle character and fight is optional, not every member is interested in battles, but if you are this is how you do it:

► First of all read the Battle Arena Rules: Battle Arena Rules.

► Then go here RPG Character Biographies - NarutoBase Forums and create a biography for your character using this template Bio template -> Hazure made a easy to understand beginners guide to creating a bio. Check it out here. <-, you cannot fight until your biography gets approved by one of the mods in charge of this section. Make sure you read some other bios first to get an idea of what you need to do, and of course create your bio according to the biography rules:-RPG Character Biographies Rules-. You can find your rank here Battle Ranks.

► Read the: Guidelines and Limits on Special Abilities and Kekkei Genkais if you are interested in having a special ability like Sharingan or Ice Release.

*Alternatively, you can start giving fights at once, but only using simple taijutsu and the weapons you chose to select in your biography. To use jutsus or bloodline limits you need to get trained first.*

Note that you can chose to be a Naruto or Bleach Character or create a custom character for yourself.

► After your biography gets approved go here to check the Sensei Table. Senseis on NB have an orange user name color and you contact one of them to ask him/her of training based on the abilities they teach according to this same table.

► Keep in mind, that NB's senseis are not always available so you might have to wait until someone is ready to train you.
