Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist

In this last chapter another swordsman was introduced - Chōjūrō. Im going to talk about the Seven and the new swordsmen we poorly know about him

Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist


Organization consisting of only the greatest blade-wielding shinobi that Kirigakure can produce. There can only be seven members at a time, hence the name. Four members are currently known, and three of them are missing-nin. The members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen were the people who came from the Bloody Mist's graduation exams with the greatest battle skills. However, the members also had a great lust for power.

Raiga Kurosuki

Four were already introduced, there are three left to go...

Im going to talk about the new swordsman - Chōjūrō- because the other three we already know them very well


Chōjūrō is a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. He is one of two Kirigakure ninja selected to escort the Mizukage to the Kage summit. He appears to wield some form of dual weapon linked together by the handles. He is shown having sharp, shark-like teeth, not unlike Zabuza Momochi, Kisame Hoshigaki, and Suigetsu Hozuki, all from Kirigakure and members of the Seven Swordsmen. He wears black-rimmed glasses and what appear to be headphones, as well as a striped shirt and camouflage pattern pants. Despite his membership in the Seven Swordsmen, he is shy and seems to lack confidence in his abilities (a bit strange for a swordsman ). But even so he is willing to protect the Mizukage.


We all hope to see him in action very soon.. 'Cause Team Hawk is heading to the Kage Summit so we might see Chōjūrō fighting against Suigetsu

Suigetsu was born in the Village of the Bloody Mist, with powers unique to his clan. Reputed to be the "reincarnation of the Kijin" (reincarnation of Zabuza), Suigetsu, dreamt to inherit the title of Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. This acted as his motivation to finish cruel missions day by day. This dream was later shattered with the death of his brother, and Suigetsu changed his ambition to "collecting all of the swords".

If team Hawk arrives at the kage summit, of course there is going to occur a great clash between nins and im hoping to see suigetsu in a great sword duel against this new little swordsman - if suigetsu couldnt win against chojuro, it may possible that suigetsu wont get kisame's sword.... we already know some abilities of suigetsu and none from chojuro - so im heading for this clash to happen

what do you think about this new swordsman? are you hoping for him to fight against suigetsu? what do you think what will happen if team hawk arrives at the kage summit? if suigetsu is strong enough to defeat the kido (chojuro) it is capable of defeating kisame and gaining his sword?? suigetsu has any chance to defeat chojuro and kisame??
now his more probable to see suigetsu against chojuro, but in the fucture who knows if suigetsu is going to fight against kisame...

Yea, that should be interesting, but idk if they'll show alot of it as the other battles that are bound to happen will be more important. But I could be wrong on that. They may battle him before or after some other battles.

he is rather young... my guess is hes a brand new swordsman... probly great in training and whatnot (thats why hes one of the 7) but he hasnt gotten to fight and show his stuff... (suigetsu isnt one of the seven or a former member, his brother was)

what the hell Raiga Kurosuki not even on the manga. he was a part of the anime fillers.

i cant believed it. does kishi know about that. since he didn't show him on the manga. my guess is 4 more left Raiga Kurosuki is just a filler.

Just go back to the episode you will see clearly that he is one of the 7 ninja swordsmen

he'll have to stick to it anyway =/

fillers are there to "complete" the manga. So if something happen there, it is accepted as true in the manga.

Just stop it... I have tried to tell them what fillers really are... They dont listen.

We got 2 Kyuubis running about in the world too (sora).

i know that suigetsu isnt one of the seven. he and his brother dream was to become part of it... when his brother got killed his dream become to collect all of the swords

actually sora's kyubi chackra exists no more - so we got only 1 kyuubi running about in the world (naruto)

Raiga is a former member of Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist introduced only in the anime.



Raiga Kurosuki
History - While he was still loyal to Kirigakure, Raiga met Ranmaru, a disabled boy who came to act as additional eyes and ears for Raiga in exchange for being carried upon his back. Ranmaru would become the only person Raiga cared about, despite Ranmaru's pacifist nature and Raiga's love for battle. After his defection Raiga enslaved a town and forced its villagers to work in its mines, also assembling some followers to form the Kurosuki Family. Besides him, his followers wore a hooded robe, gloves that sprout claws from the back of the hand, and enforced his laws. Should a law of his be broken, that person would end up being buried alive.



Abilities - As one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, Raiga wields two spiked swords known as the Lightning Fangs that he uses in a manner similar to lightning rods to attract and channel lightning and electricity. He can connect them at their hilts to form a larger double-bladed sword, effectively increasing the weapon's size and allowing him to perform different and more powerful attacks. Lightning acts as a power source for him, and so long as he has access to it he can battle continuously.

So..... yeah is one of the seven swords mist

and fillers episodes are used for anime episodes cant catch up with manga episodes, thats why is ofteen to see fillers introducing new characters, new villains - and everything that is related with naruto (manga, anime, fillers, movies, OPVs) are supervised by kishi, he is the one who says the final word

I cant see Raiga in the top photo of the 7 mist.

I can see Kisame, Zabuza and Chojuro tho.

So does that mean Raiga isnt part of the Og 7 mist?

lol so far all the other 7 swormen kishi show on the manga have shark teath expect Raiga. since is not on kishi book.
