a idea for how naruto should use his wind element

i think this guys strenght is the result of having a deadly and fast close combat attack and being fast, and naruto has deadly close combat moves (frog katana, rasengan) and in sage mode is fast.
i'd like to have a bit more of temari's fighting style for naruto, she kills guys about huge distances and has some kind of wind shield (in the fight against tenten), what would solve naruto's lack of distance moves and his bad defense.
