Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.
Background Info.
History: Formerly of the Leaf Village, Hakachi was a happy, kind, and fun loving child. He had a lot of friends and was generally a liked person. However, the whole Invasion of Orochimaru, and the drama with Sasuke’s abandonment of the village put him in disarray. He realized that the village was constantly in fear of attack from Orochimaru, and with the coming threat of the Akatsuki, he decided he wanted out. He applied to be assigned to the Hidden Sand Village but it was turned down because the village needed to have all of its ninja to stay there. So he left in the middle of the night for his new life as a rogue ninja, journeying through many lands,meeting new and different people and even at one point passing by the Hidden Mist Village during the attack of the Kaguya clan. He eventually arrived upon a small village where he briefly settled down. However, one night he was sleeping in his cabin and he heard noises outside. He awoke and looked out his window just as he saw the villagers he had come to respect and love, being slaughtered by a group of ninja from a neighboring village. They left only the women and children to watch as their friends were murdered. In a fit of rage, he killed all of the oncoming intruders and his clothes were stained with their blood. The next day, he was gone, seemingly to wander the rest of his life and henceforth earning him the nickname "The Wandering Crimson Warrior."
