This technique arms Orochimaru with the Kusanagi, of Japanese legend. Orochimaru opens his mouth and a snake comes out, opening its mouth, and produces the Sword of Kusanagi. In the anime, it glows a white, bluish aura, possibly symbolic of the name "sword of the heavens". The sword can also be greatly extended in length. Orochimaru has so far reserved the use of the sword to difficult fights: the Sandaime Hokage during the invasion of Konoha, the Jiraiya and Tsunade teamup, and four-tailed Kyūbi Naruto.
